Eurométropole de Strasbourg: one diagnosed home in five is recent
Lingolsheim: an unusual share of recent housing
Several times the Strasbourg proportion of homes rated A or B. These are the ones that let without works, and that the loi Climat et Résilience timetable does not threaten. The only commune in the conurbation to do better is Ostwald.
Only one of the 33 communes in the Eurométropole de Strasbourg has a higher share of homes rated A or B. Here: 21.2 %.
What we let in Lingolsheim, per square metre
A studio or one-bedroom flat lets here for 16,82 € le m², against 13,35 € for a two-bedroom flat or larger, that is 26 % more for every square metre let. This is the first thing to look at when buying to let: for the same budget, two small flats do not bring in what one large one does.
| Property type | Rent / m² / month | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Flat, all sizes | 14,81 € | 12,43 – 17,65 € |
| One- or two-room flat | 16,82 € | 14,33 – 19,75 € |
| Flat with three rooms or more | 13,35 € | 11,14 – 16,00 € |
| Houseestimated over a wider area, only 989 listings in the commune | 14,45 € | 9,86 – 21,17 € |

Why we don't display a price per square metre
There is no public one. The State publishes every sale in France in the fichier des demandes de valeurs foncières, except those in the Bas-Rhin, the Haut-Rhin and the Moselle, which come under the livre foncier of Alsace-Moselle and not the national property register.
This isn't a publication delay: it's a legal regime, and it won't change. The prices per square metre you'll see elsewhere for Lingolsheim are therefore estimates drawn from listings, not recorded sales. We prefer not to display any and to give you a real opinion on your property instead. It's free and without obligation.
The energy condition of the housing stock
Of the 4,552 diagnostics drawn up in Lingolsheim since July 2021, 5.3 % of homes are rated F or G, and 21.2 % A or B. The most common label is C.
This figure determines what an owner can do with their property: the timetable of the loi Climat et Résilience is progressively closing off letting to the least efficient homes. Having the diagnostic carried out is therefore a prerequisite to any letting, not a formality at the end of the process.
